Interested in having a falconry presentation for your home school group, co-op, birthday party, or other type of function? Don’t hesitate to contact Falconry Chronicles! Currently, the team of birds that is presented consists of a barn owl, peregrine falcon, and Harris’s hawk. The presentation is roughly one hour long, and ends with a short flight demonstration to a lure machine. This simulates a short chase after prey, and ends by showing how the hawk is transferred off of what it catches and how we end a hunt, followed by a Q&A session. So if you’d like to learn more about the ancient hunting sport and heritage of falconry and more about birds of prey, don’t hesitate to drop us a line!
